You will be a Product Manager for Compass, Clearent's online portal for sales partners and merchants. Your mission is to help define and deliver the next generation of Compass that delights customers and generates profitable revenue for Clearent. To succeed at Clearent, you must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You must be able to work well with team members while also being comfortable making decisions and completing work on your own.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the product strategy and roadmap to establish a leadership position in the market.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer and the competitive landscape to identify market and product opportunities.
  • Create user stories and product requirements to help designers and developers translate your insight into software that delights customers.
  • Prioritize the backlog of features to achieve the overarching strategy and roadmap.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, sales and support teams to launch your product and to ensure success across the customer lifecycle.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to measure product success and glean new insights.
  • Increase velocity of software development by delivering requirements complete and on time.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management
  • Bachelor's degree is required; MBA is a plus
  • Experience in payments technology or SaaS software is desired, not required.
  • Direct experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make decisions
  • Team player who brings a "can do" attitude to work every day
  • Experience building web/user facing products (mobile, tablet, desktop)
  • Experience working with design resources
  • Experience and willingness to interface with customers, merchants, sales reps, etc.
  • If not in St. Louis or Louisville, willingness to travel to offices periodically
